Biography

Described as the work of ‘one lady at home with her enormous collection of synthesisers’, Alice Hubble mixes melancholic pop, layered vintage synths and elegant vocals, reminiscent of Hannah Peel, Sally Oldfield and Jane Weaver.

Alice crafts analogue-soaked electronic pop with a touch of pastoral neo-folk sensibilities, balancing earthy warmth with a whimsical retro-futuristic charm. Using vintage synthesizers and mellotrons, her work moves from ambient soundscapes to hook-laden synth-pop, exploring themes of feminism and folklore whilst trying to make sense of the post-truth world we live in today.
